The Specialty

Mesotherapy is summarized in this motto by Dr. Michel Pistor:

"LITTLE, RARELY AND IN THE RIGHT PLACE"

Mesotherapy is a medical technique developed in 1952 by Dr. Michel Pistor.

It is based on the repeated administration of low doses of allopathic medicines (all medicines used in general medicine, except corticosteroids) or homeopathic medicines, on or on the skin, where the disease or pain is felt, as well as its origin.

Covering many fields of application, Mesotherapy is today an integral part of the therapeutic arsenal available to the doctor and allows to offer his patients an alternative treatment to relieve and in many cases, cure.

Whether in the treatment of neuralgic, traumatic or other pains, or in the treatment of circulatory, otorhinolaryngological or cosmetic disorders, I use this proven technique.

The different injection techniques in Mesotherapy

Dr. Michel Pistor's reference injection technique is intradermal injection performed at a depth of 1 to 13 mm.

  • Epidermal mesotherapy: Derived from the Nappage technique from which it takes the basic principles, this technique is not bloody.

  • Dry and wet mesotherapy: Multipoint surfaces involving the epidermis or the superficial layer of the dermis.

  • Wheal: Superficial intradermal injection of the product that causes a detachment called "relief" with lightening of the skin, between the epidermis and the superficial dermis.

  • Nappage: the Nappage téchnique can be epidermal, basal, superficial, dermal, depending on the angle of attack and the pressure of the needle tip.

  • Mesoperfusion: or slow mesotherapy, is a subcutaneous or intradermal injection technique, between 2 and 13 mm, in depth.

In what cases can Mesotherapy be applied

  • Joint osteoarthritis: degenerative or inflammatory pathology (spine, shoulder, elbow, knee, etc.), partial rupture of tendons, rehydration, and more.

  • Neurology: anxiety, sleep disorder, and more.

  • Dermatology: localized herpes, localized fat, cellulite, tissue hardening, and more.

What the patient should do:

  • Report any allergies or abnormal reactions that appear after medical treatment or a mesotherapy session.

  • Report periods and possibly ongoing illnesses and their treatment.

  • Remember that clean clothes on a clean body expose you to less infectious incidents.

  • Avoid applying any product or cream to the bitten areas on the day of the session, no ointment, body milk or makeup on the treated area.
